For most farms, the website is the front door to your whole business. It's where new customers find you, where regulars come back to reorder, and where a curious shopper decides whether to buy from you. So we built a free tool to answer one simple question: is yours actually doing its job?
The Farm Website Grader looks at your website the way a real customer does, gives you a grade and a clear list of what to fix if needed. It's free, it takes about three minutes, and your report lands in your inbox.
Why We Built The Farm Website Grader
Almost every farm we talk to wants the same thing: more sales. And when we look closely at where those sales are actually won or lost, we often come back to the website.
The surprising part is how often a website looks great but is still quietly losing orders. It's rarely a design problem. It's what sits underneath: a customer can't tell what's in stock, can't find a clear way to order, or can't find the farm in the first place. Those are the small gaps that can have a big impact.
The grader helps you quickly identify those gaps and make the changes needed to help you get more sales.
What The Farm Website Grader Checks
We look at two things: can people find you, and once they're on your website, can they actually buy from you.
Getting found. First, the grader does a quick scan of how findable your farm is. It looks at whether your website is technically set up for SEO and AEO, and whether you appear in search engines and AI answers. From there, it checks that your homepage clearly says what you sell and where.
Can They Buy. Then, it checks what happens once a customer is on your website, which is where most farms lose orders. It looks at whether they can place an order, how quickly they can get from your homepage to a product, whether prices are visible, and whether your listings have important elements, such as clear photos, descriptions, units, and stock status.
We weigh the buying side heavier on purpose. A farm that's easy to find but has no real way to take an order online hasn't solved its actual problem. Being findable only counts for something if a customer can check out once they arrive.
How We Score Your Farm Website
Scoring was one of the most important parts of building this, and we took care in getting it right. We wanted the grade to give you something genuinely useful. The grader checks concrete things that decide whether a customer can find you and buy from you. Every website gets measured against the same list, which keeps your grade consistent and comparable rather than subjective.
Each check lands in one of a few states:
- Pass: the thing is there and working, so you get the full points.
- Partial: some of it is in place but not all, so you get partial credit and a note on what's left to finish.
- Needs work: it's missing, so no points, plus a specific fix.
- Not measured: we couldn't reach part of your website.
For checks that are naturally yes-or-no, like whether online ordering exists, you either pass or you don't. For checks where partial credit makes sense, like product photos or descriptions, we score the actual percentage and show you the real number.
If the grader can't reach part of your website, like a store behind a buyer login, it won't guess. It flags the grade as a partial check that reflects only what it could see, which is expected.
Grade Your Farm Website
If your website is already doing its job, you'll know exactly what to keep leaning on. If it's costing you sales, you'll know exactly where to start. Either way, you'll have a clear read on your website in about three minutes, and the grader is free to run.
