What is Local Line?

Local Line is a farm-to-fork commerce platform for local food buyers and suppliers. Our e-commerce platform helps farms, producers, food hubs and farmers markets sell to their customers and manage all their operations in one place. Our sourcing platform helps grocers, restaurants, and distributors buy direct from local farms.

What features does Local Line offer for farmers and producers?

Farmers and producers can use Local Line to create a branded online storefront, set up flexible delivery and pickup schedules, manage subscriptions and CSA boxes, track real-time inventory, and generate invoices and reports. The platform is designed to handle the unique needs of local food sales, whether you’re selling by weight, by package, or in customizable product boxes.

In what countries is Local Line available?

Local Line is available in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and select other European countries. Currently our platform is available in English, French, Spanish, Polish, Croatian, German, and Slovenian but we will be adding more languages in the future. If you'd like to use Local Line and are located outside of our service areas, please join our waitlist and we will notify you when Local Line becomes available in your country!

Can I sell both retail and wholesale using Local Line?

Yes. Local Line makes it easy to sell to different customer types by creating separate price lists. This allows you to manage retail and wholesale sales from the same system, using one shared inventory, while still giving each group the right products, pricing, and payment options.

Does Local Line offer marketing tools for local food producers?

Yes. Local Line includes a full suite of marketing tools that help producers promote their products, grow their customer base, and increase repeat sales. Farmers can create a branded online store, share curated product catalogs, send targeted email announcements, and highlight new or seasonal products.
